| Target MDG by (Informal e.g. SHG) & (formal) Institutional Mechanism MDG is achievable only if those important stakeholders are targetted should be involved. Involvement of poor community is sine qua non, and hence formal & informal institutional mechanism should be facilitated to make conducive environment that masses involve themself. It is possible by Self Help Group (succesfull in India) and Cooperative organisation along with NGO, civil society and education institutes. SHG is powerful mechanism formed of peer members for economic purpose, but its impact are equally on social front. In my opinion, SHG and Cooperative organisation are peoples' own and hence may be used as medium to translate goal into actions, and we may achieve MDG by year 2015. |
